3D printing for medical purposes
The purpose of this project was to develop some solutions for the creation of adaptable, low-cost pediatric prostheses for the external ear, through the use of 3D scanning, 3D modeling, 3D printing and laser cutter.

In June 2021 the SciFabLab started an international collaborationwith researchers and students of the FAB LAB Mindanao and the College of Computer Studies of the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology, Philippines and personnel of the Burlo Garofolo Children’s Hospital of Trieste.
